The following outlines our current terms and conditions with regard to Cancellation so that you can plan accordingly. In addition to these terms, we encourage you to read our full Terms and Conditions found here. The Terms and Conditions form the basis of the contract you enter into when you use our services, so it is important that you read and understand them in full.
Shop Collection Cancellation Policy
Our Shop Collection services and guides are designed to offer the flexibility needed to enjoy bike riding whether or not your vacation is cycling-focused. We understand things happen or weather turns, and we’ll do all we can to accommodate changes. Although we’re usually successful when it comes to switching days, this is a gesture of goodwill and not guaranteed.
If you need to cancel, we refund 50% of the booking value up to 14 days before the ride date. Should you cancel within 14 days of the ride date, the entire booking will be non-refundable.
If you need to cancel, we refund 70% of the bike rental fee up to 48 hours before your rental begins. Should you cancel within 48 hours, the rental fee becomes non-refundable.
Bespoke Trip Cancellation Policy
In the event you should need to cancel a Bespoke Trip, please refer to the following chart to know the cancellation fees that will apply depending on how far in advance of the booking the cancellation is requested.

*50% of the trip deposit can be rolled over as travel credits for one year. Credits may be applied only once and will not be reissued in the event the rebooked travel is canceled again.
Standard cancellation policies and fees apply for cancellations arising from Covid-related risks and associated government measures, such as:
- You test positive for Covid or are required to self-isolate due to possible exposure, with the result that you are unable to travel.
- Your flight(s) get(s) canceled because of an outbreak of Covid in your area.
- Your government and/or the Italian government advise(s) against travel to Italy.
- Quarantine is required at your destination or upon return.
It’s our guests' responsibility to stay informed of the latest travel and health regulations. We therefore recommend review of local government guidelines regarding international travel before booking with us. Please find the latest travel information and advisories for the USA and UK here.
If the reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of your travel protection plan you may be able to reclaim these charges, for this reason we strongly encourage the purchase of a travel protection plan including additional cancel for any reason coverage.
Airline tickets are governed by the air carriers’ terms, and we are not responsible for any air carrier’s decision regarding refund.
Although we can’t insist that you purchase travel insurance to travel with us, we highly recommend being covered by a “cancel for any reason” policy. Many reliable companies offer various levels of coverage, so consider all your available options. We’re happy to point you to providers who offer them.
Note: Any policy that covers “cancel for any reason or pre-existing conditions” — for instance, Allianz Travel Insurance — must be purchased within 14 calendar days of deposit.
Given today’s travel challenges and considering the complexity of your trip, we want to do all we can to ensure a fair outcome for all parties. Should unforeseen circumstances arise where, for instance, an inbound or outbound destination is closed due to COVID-control measures imposed by the local government, we’ll request a postponement from our villa or hotel partners. However, granting this request is a gesture of goodwill on their behalf and is therefore not guaranteed and standard terms may overrule.
If quarantine requirements are in place at the time of travel but there are no official travel restrictions, we consider the booking to commence as normal.

What’s the deposit and when is the balance due?
The deposit for Bespoke Trips is €750 per person and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 120 days before the start of your trip.
In addition to the per-person trip deposit, a non-refundable €500 Bespoke Trip Design Fee is required to initiate your request, design your itinerary and secure the availability of hotels (or villa) for your group. Once the booking is confirmed, this design fee will be applied toward the balance due.
How far in advance should I/we book?
Because we work with a handful of bespoke groups per year and often fill up six months in advance, we suggest reserving early. Planning early also allows us to design your trip with a wider selection of hotels and villas that are often booked first.
Similarly, peak season Guided Rides fill months in advance. Given that these rides are never double-booked, we recommend booking as soon as your itinerary is confirmed.
Will the price be the same if I postpone my trip to a later date?
It depends. Our rates vary throughout the year depending on the booking season. Should there be any changes, we’ll let you know the recalculated rates based on your newly selected dates.
