International Duties and Taxes

Please note that Lucca Cycling Club ships from Italy. For orders shipped outside the EU, VAT is automatically removed once you select your delivery country at checkout. Your destination country may apply local import taxes or duties and are payable by the customer. Should import charges or duties apply, the shipping company will notify you during customs clearance with the amount owed.

Here’s a brief overview of how imports are typically handled in the regions where most of our international English-speaking customers reside.

United States
As of August 29, 2025, the de-minimis exemption is no longer in effect for shipments entering the United States. All imports, regardless of origin or value, now require formal entry with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and may incur duty, tax, and brokerage fees.

Canada
Our apparel is made in Italy and qualifies under the EU-Canada CETA trade agreement — meaning Canadian customers should not pay customs duties on the product itself when the origin criteria are met. You might still pay local GST/HST or courier handling fees on delivery.

United Kingdom
Shipments valued below £135 generally enter the UK without customs duties. Depending on import processing, UK VAT may still be payable.
