Frequently Asked Questions

Have another question? Contact me here.

How often do you update the guide?

I update the guide at least every six months and immediately when there's a road closure. As a Lucca local, I know when restaurants or hotels change management, when landslides wipe out roads and when shop owners come and go.

Are routes from Lucca to Florence, Siena or Bologna included?

Destination Ride routes aren't for sale. Having pedaled the territory for over a decade, they're some of my most prized pieces of IP. I've meticulously scouted and vetted uncountable roads so you'll know what a finely tuned GPX track can do.

Do you know of any mobile phone handlebar mounts?

Mous and Quad Lock both make bike phone mounts. Alternatively, consider keeping your phone in your rear pocket and wearing open-ear headphones like Shokz.
